Tapping into what matters the most.

Tapping into what matters the most when we practice.

As we step into life today and every day, we sometimes come to a crossroads where the unknown can scare the heck out of us.  There is a part of all of us that wants to be secure, certain, safe and feel comfort in all that we have come to trust. The irony about comfort is, in order to truly feel comfortable in situations, we must seek out the comfort within the discomfort.  It's within the eye of the storm that we discover faith.

Faithful steps may feel like a tightrope walker with no net underneath us.  If we refuse to take these steps only if we can see the safety net, we transform the net to become a trap as it creates a barrier between us and the freedom to pursue our life's desires.  With practice, we remove the fear from the equation and then, without ever wondering what is going on down below, we move straight towards the abundance that awaits us in life.

The wisdom traditions tell us that support shows up at just the right time.  It's only when we take those first tentative steps that we're shown that the fears were all just an illusion.  It's the steps we take as we progress that reinforce our highest and best experience of growth.  The support can come from a surprisingly soft landing, an unexpected rescue or a heart opening experience.

When we gather to practice on the mat, we're consciously stepping into the unknown, placing ourselves into the metaphoric eye of the storm.  We bgin to appreciate the fullness of life when we are wiling to trust and fall.

When we place trust in the flow of Grace surrounding us at all times, our inborn strengths are sculpted, toned, honed, and integrated into all we do.  Each and every class at Inner Strength is geared towards providing the space for you to get uncomfortable and to find the comfort within.
